How BTC became what it is today
Bengal Trading Co., is a sentiment that attaches thousands of people. It is a one stop electrical shop widely known and believed in across West Bengal, Sikkim & Bhutan.
Started in Siliguri in 1976 by Mr. Kulchhatra Agarwal, BTC faced a lot of struggles in the initial days to gain acceptance of its customers. Over time, it managed to create a name for itself. It started as dealer of few of the electrical brands but over time it got itself associated with more. The firm always believes in innovation & giving the best. It got associated with Schneider Electric at a time when the company was struggling and today it is a giant which provides the best electrical products and standing ahead of all its competitors.
Today, BTC is a dealer of more than 20 known brands. It always believed to give the best to its customers and thereby chose only those which are the best. The firm has been successful in becoming a one stop electrical shop which it had vision to be in the start.
Mr. Rajender Garg, S/o Mr. Kulchhatra Agarwal has been supporting him alongside his entrepreneurial journey ever since his school days. With a young mind that he started with, he has been a part of the struggle of this firm and seen the bad and the glory days. Determined to continue his father’s legacy and dream, he expanded the firm and formed a sister company named Inder Automation & System Pvt. Ltd. (IAPL) which is panel board manufacturing firm. He has been successfully running it from the past 12 years and is determined to be the largest manufacturer of panel boards, an added vision to the family’s business voyage.
